It turned freezing cold this month. Angela gets a
head-start, or bottom-start, on staying warm as she toasts her buns by the
fire. |
 |
Caitlin snoozes with Ginger on the couch. Our pet
name (no pun intended) for Ginger is Pookie, which was derived from Poopie
after some unfortunate gastrointestinal issues as a puppy. Ginger does
make a fantastic leg-warmer while lounging on the couch. |
 |
While we get warm and relaxed, I left the office work to
Ginger. She's pretty good except for customer service where clients
find her tone a bit too harsh. |

Caitlin and her *cough* boyfriend, Jonathan. |

The kids were baptized last month, but here are some nice
photos that the church provided of the celebration. |

 |
Charles Cross and I took Reagan Cross and Devin along with
our previous neighbor friend Cruz to see the UTA Movin' Mavs wheelchair team
play. It was one of those events where the kids were all upset that
they were being made to go to something they didn't want to, but then were
enthralled once they were there. They loved it. I got to see
some of my old basketball teammates who are now playing on the team UTA was
playing against that night. I also got to visit with my old coach Jim
Hayes which was really great. |
 |
Caitlin and Devin started Upwards Basketball practice.
I'm coaching Devin's 1st & 2nd grade team. |

 |
Our church's new sanctuary is almost complete. I had
the opportunity to tour the facility the other day with our praise band and
praise team. The praise band which I am playing electric guitar with
begins practicing in there in two weeks. The first service will be
held the second week in January.
Music Minister Jim Parks demonstrates that not every seat in the
auditorium is as good as the rest. Some architectural oddities such as
this one reveal themselves only after the building is built. |
 |
Caitlin had a bit too much Halloween candy and put a few
pounds on which she appears to be quite proud of. |

 |
Angela strings the lights all across the roofline. |

I hope people reading about our family don't get tired of
me bragging on my wife, because I don't have any plans of stopping.
She's incredible at so many things, one of which she demonstrates by putting
together this tree in our entryway. Not only is it decorated
awesomely, but she used a log, seated with Plaster of Paris in an urn to set
the arrangement off. She also handmade the fuzzy-border draping around
the base.
Caitlin and mommy decorate the Christmas tree in the family room. |

My sister, Judith, had a show-and-tell of items that my
niece Rachel brought back while she had a tour of duty in Iraq. Judith
shows off a small knife, intricately crafted and inlaid. Angela models
a traditional burka worn by the Muslim women. |
