For a school project, Caitlin took pictures with our
neighbor's horses, Jackson and Grey. We love to feed them carrots at
the fence. |

 |
I've been trying to get some good pictures of Ginger, the
wonder Frisbee-catching dog, but it's hard to get any that aren't blurry.
She loves to play Frisbee. When she knows we're going outside to play,
she jumps three feet in the air like a deer. |

 |
The Crosses and we spent an afternoon at Turtle Creek Park
in north Dallas. It's very beautiful and relaxing. |
 |
We celebrated Stephen Merritt's birthday. Stephen is
a long-time friend and works for my company
Accel Warranty Services. |
 |
Devin takes a slide at the Mansfield Fall Festival. |
 |
Ginger is very good at squashing bugs. Here she has
one cordoned off. I point and say "get it" and she pounces on them
softly until they are asleep. She doesn't eat them though. |
 |
Amber Wills observed Devin for a college project. She
intently took notes on everything he did for four hours. Devin was
thrilled at this detailed attention and made the most of it. After the
observation was over, we had to help him down gently from his lofty
attitude. Amber is wife to Nick who is does web design for
Speedsoft. |
 |
Devin has been losing teeth left and right. Here he
works on one of the front-top teeth. He's not afraid of the blood in
the least. |

 |
He works it with some cherry-flavored dental string.
That doesn't work, so I tied it to the door knob to give that a shot.
Outside, our neighbor, Madison, watches. Devin thinks, no, stay out
there, don't slam the door! |
 |
Success! Just when we'd given up for a bit, I was
trying to remove the string from his tooth and it just kind of plopped out. |
 |
Caitlin and one of her best friends, Brianna, swing on the
tire swing out back. |
 |
And another month comes to a close. |
