Caitlin's school had "Donuts for Dads" morning. |
 |
Devin gets in a little shooting practice (Nintendo-style)
before going off to cowboy dress-up day at school. |
 |
Easy Rider 2002. |
 |
Angela's mom's dog, Ming, keeps a little snack for later. |
 |
I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but I'm pretty
sure it involves the word "taunt." |
 |
I think Bailey Cross neglected to take the warning from
last month's family pictures where
Devin found himself in a
similar situation. |
 |
I saw this at a Wendy's. It's a live bee truck. But the
funniest thing is their license plate. |
 |
Caitlin and mom ride on the bobsled ride at Six Flags. It's
now called "La Vibora." I think our favorite family ride is the log ride.
The kids weren't getting wet enough, so Angela reached out and splashed
water on them with her hand, acting like it was part of the ride. |
 |
We took a trip to Granbury for Spring Break. Angela wowed
us by sporting these hair-things. We made quite a pair meandering around the
old-town square, a guy in a wheelchair with a Spice Girl in arm. |
 |
Caitlin imitates some mannequin heads in one of the town
stores. |
 |
And introducing Devin...Devin Crockett. |
 |
"Have your people call my people. I can't talk right now,
I'm in the middle of an important dinner meeting. Ciao." |
 |
Caitlin loves to give bear-hugs. |
 |
High winds from a freak Texas storm caused a large pencil
to be jabbed through Caitlin's hair. |
 |
Devin is now riding his bike without training wheels. Yes,
he just turned 4. |
 |
Sure, he takes some spills, but he's pretty good natured
about it. Unless mom gets out there and then she screams when he falls
over, which makes him upset about it. Whereas I yell, "cool, that was
awesome, did you see how you did that flip and then bamb! Wait till you show
the girls in your class that big boo-boo on your elbow." |

Texas Fishing Licenses: $40.00
Bait: $2.50
Pier Fee: $10.00
A sand bass caught in the first 5 minutes of fishing: not worth it,
but still fun. Then we spent another 3 hours without so much as a nibble. |
 |
Happy Easter! |

 |
Devin and Caitlin hunts eggs out at my brother, Randy's,
house in Waxahachie. |
 |
My beautiful wife! |

 |
Caitlin and Devin tear it up on the trampoline.
Devin is a little shaky, but Caitlin lends a hand. |

 |
Our church class had a picnic one Sunday afternoon.
Here the kids all piled on the tire swing. Devin's in blue, Caitlin's in
pink.
And Devin and I helped build this neato sand castle. |
 |
Saturday, March 30th, we had a massive hail storm that
lasted not more than a couple of minutes. But, in that time it was coming
down in sheets. Here is our front porch right after the storm. It looks like
snow. It was about marble sized. Keep in mind, this came down in about 1-2
minutes. Thankfully, there was no damage to the roof of the house or the
cars. |

 |
The kids enjoyed a visit to
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center
in Glen Rose, TX where you get to feed exotic animals as they come up to
your car.
I think this one is used to posing. He's a natural.
This giraffe knows what a sun roof is. Except she doesn't call it a "sun
roof;" she calls it a "refrigerator" and she wants an afternoon snack.
I would not be one to argue with her. Let her take what she wants and
hope she gets full before we run out of feed. Did you know giraffes have
black tongues? |
