1. Caitlin has really taken to school. Here she puts on
mommy's glasses and acts like a teacher. 2. She absolutely loves to use
the dry-erase board in my office to draw pictures and write sentences. This
particular story is a tell-all scary storey which we took up with the
teacher. Don't worry, the offender was punished. The sentence reads, "I got
punched in the stomach. Colton did it." |

Angela is playing volleyball for our Sunday School class
team. One of the first times I hung out with Angela was when she was playing
volleyball for our church class when we were in the Singles Department. She
was so excited to get to play that she ran out there without putting on her
knee pads and immediately dove for an incoming ball. That left burn marks on
her knees for months to come. It was an early warning to me of her 100%
dive-in-to-things nature! |

We lit luminarias in front of our house for the night when
everyone lit candles in remembrance of September 11. Take a moment to pray
for our country. |

At Zack Stayton's birthday party they had a jump house.
Caitlin looks absolutely terrified! |

My cousin, Jean, and her husband, Stan, visited from Canyon

Ok, I can't figure this one out. Is there something I'm
missing? I snapped this driving up Cooper St. one day. 1) um...lady
silhouette stickers, 2) the Christian icthus (fish symbol, IXOYE in Greek),
and 3) a bumper sticker that reads "Greg Pyle, Choctaw Chief." What does it
all mean? Is there some sort of connection with them all? Do Christian
Choctaw Chiefs have a relation to lady silhouette stickers that fits? Paul
Gage, associate minister of music at Fielder Road Baptist Church suggests
that the car had two previous owners, and each of them including the current
owner added their own personal statement, none removing the prior
statement(s). I'm sure there is some sort of spiritual significance here
that is crying out to be known. Can someone trace the owner's phone number
from the license plate for me so I can get to the bottom of this? |

We took part in a bon-fire, hay-ride party that our Sunday
School class had. The second picture was almost completely black, but with
a little computer magic and color tone adjustment, out popped a really cool
looking image. You can even see the brighter stars shining. |

I began attempting to teach Devin and Caitlin how to ride
their bikes sans training wheels. 1. Caitlin says "goal!"
2. Devin rides solo for about 8 feet before winding up in a crumpled pile
of metal, rubber and three-year-old. Out of the wreckage he springs forth
smilingly proclaiming, "Crash and burn!" |
 |
Our good friends Jef and April Larremore were wed this
month. April's son (playing the part of the ring-bearer, or as Devin calls
it, "the flower-boy") gets a little too much piano volume and covers his
ears. |

1. Caitlin tries on a witch wig for size and strikes a
pose. 2. Angela dressed up as what she called "The Masked Mommy" for
Halloween. |

 |
1. Angela extends her costume with a witch hat and serves
lattes to Starbucks trick-or-treaters. 2. Her store had a pumpkin carving
contest. This is Angela's entry. It's a miniature pumpkin about 3 1/2 inches
across. She carved it with an Exacto, painted and shellac'ed it. |

The Speeds making their selections at an area pumpkin
patch. Devin is wearing a shirt that has a picture of a spider on it. But
from his placement of the pumpkin, it appears that the pumpkin is crawling
up his shirt. |

2. Devin bowls.
