We had a visitor show up on our doorstep. Angela, Caitlin
and Devin bathed him and gave him some water and food. I put him in the back
yard and made some lost-dog flyers to put up around the neighborhood. But,
he snuck out under our not-so-dog-proof backyard fence gate. Good luck
little doggie! |

We spent some time out at the Joe Pool Lake beach area.
1. Mom throws Devin as far as he'll fly.
2. Greg and Caitlin play in the sand. |

Our friend, Parker, had fun eating a banana split on
Memorial Day, but it got a little messy. |
 |
I snapped this shot of our elusive bunny friend in his
natural habitat...under our deck. |

In case you missed the excitement, I had an MRI this month.
Here Angela gets a science experiment lesson from the technician. When you
put this platter in the magnetic field, it feels like it's floating in gel
when you try to move it. You can see some more pictures of
my MRI here. Beware, it's not for the squeamish, but I think it's way
cool! |

Devin and Caitlin started swim lessons at
Emler Swim School. |

Chintz the Cat, my co-worker at Antiques and Moore, loves
my photo area. I was trying to take a shot of this antique German beer
stein, and Chintz decided she needed to clean her teeth. She looks like
she's really enjoying herself. |

Chuck E. Cheese! 1. Devin slams the Hi-Ball game.
2. Devin and Caitlin don't quite have the right idea about Skee-ball,
walking up the ramp to drop the balls in...or maybe they do.
3. One for the records: I was playing Hi-Ball and a tennis ball landed on
top of the one already in the top slot...and stayed there! All of the
employees had to come over and see it. |

Mommy makes some creative animal pancakes. |

 |
1. Devin trapped in the Burger King POW camp. It breaks
your heart to see them clawing and clamoring to get out. 2. Caitlin in the
mouth of a shark.
I don't think we'll be going back there any time soon. What a violent
play area! |

 |
1. Devin and Caitlin riding their bikes. 2. Mom burns up
the sidewalk while Caitlin hangs on for dear life. |

Angela and I got to go to a concert in Deep Ellum to see
Seven Channels, Dollybraid and Dexter Freebish. Dallas, the guitarist for
Seven Channels, is an old acquaintance of mine from when I was in Sycamore
and he was in a band named the Matt Van Y 3. His new band is really doing
great and getting a lot of good exposure. They're getting local radio play
on the Edge, 102.1 FM. Good stuff. 1.
Seven Channels
at Deep Ellum Live.
2. Dexter
Freebish live. I got to meet these guys after the show. I was really
impressed with their music, a kind of melodic pop rock, my favorite. They
seemed really down-to-earth and genuinely nice guys.
3. Kevin, me, Dallas, and Dalton from Seven Channels. |

Angela and I help with children's Sunday School every few
months. I don't know if it's a good thing or not, but we always have a blast
when we do this. It's a major excuse for us to be silly. The kids seem to
like it anyway. Here Angela employed child labor to aid in the building of
this monumental wood block tower. Then she encouraged the young girl to
become violent and smash the tower to pieces...in church!!! *sigh* |
