Another in the Childhood Picture-A-Month series circa 1976. I
had an aluminum tennis racquet (very cutting-edge technology back then).
Here I am hitting the tennis ball as hard as I can. I then had no
alternative but to run down the street to retrieve it, just to do it all
again; the simple pleasures of childhood. |

Angela uses her head and stores the Christmas tree in the
attic. Poor thing; she's a real trooper.
She made it though and could still smile!

 |
The excitement is enough to make you fall asleep. Do you
know how long it takes for a young child's bowling ball to make it down
the lane? But both of them were able to rack up at least one strike a
piece.
Look at the form on Caitlin. She's a natural.

 |
Angela never ceases to amaze. This is her latest creation,
a mermaid costume for Caitlin complete with the little golden shell
chest-protectors. |
 |
I thought I would start including here a web site of the
month, featuring a recently created site by Greg and/or Angela (a joint
effort in most cases).
Michael Brown Productions (mbpvideo.com)
was February's creation. They create videos from start to finish. Michael
Brown's wife is Sandra Brown, the internationally best-selling author.
After seeing our work, she setup a meeting with us in mid-March to
redesign her site. That should be fun. |
 |
This is Devin's class at the Early Childhood Learning
Center. They had cowboy dress-up day. I can never get enough of the
Pillsbury kid in the center. He is awesome. |
 |
Caitlin learns a valuable lesson in capital punishment. |
 |
Ouch, 5 year shots! |

 |
February saw crazy weather: way cold, way rainy, and this
day, way beautiful. We took this opportunity, which just happened to
be Caitlin's birthday, to visit Joe Pool Lake and feed the fish and ducks.
Have you ever seen black ducks with white bills? I hadn't in all my
life. After talking with one of the area workers, I found out these are
new wild (and unexpected and unsolicited) additions to the Lynn Creek
Marina. They just made their home here last year.

 |
Greg plays a miniature guitar with a small battery-powered
amplifier that our friends' son brought over. Angela asked me to pose, I'm
really not in pain. |

 |
On Caitlin's birthday (big number 5) Angela whipped up a
Barbie cake. The Barbie was one of Caitlin's presents and the icing was
it's ball gown. |
 |
Caitlin and Devin called this their family picture. Their
child: a result of genetics gone horribly wrong. |
 |
SingleRose.com had a booth at the Fort Worth Entrepreneurs
Exposition. Angela had the banner made, created media kits, and generally
made us all proud to be standing behind a wonderfully decorated booth. The
good thing for me was I learned to spell "entrepreneur." |
 |
Ugh...leave three kids with me for 5 minutes and wham,
there's popcorn all over the floor...buttered popcorn...all over the
floor...heavily buttered greasy popcorn...smashed into and all over the floor, and all over
the television and all over the entertainment center. My blood pressure
was high enough to cook up another batch of popcorn. |
 |
Caitlin's Birthday Party was at the Arlington Skatium. Here
Devin shows his skating abilities.
First, "Scared Skater." oooh
Second, "Sad Skater." aaah
Thank you, thank you. Check your local listings for upcoming
performances.

 |
Another Angela masterpiece birthday cake.
Caitlin is both stunned and shocked.
|
 |
Caitlin digs into the loot! |
 |
The theme of the party was the "Power Puff Girls"
or PPG. Can you guess which of the girls in this picture represent each
PPG? Watch out, if you choose wrong, they're going to zap you with their
laser guns!
