June 2001 MRI
For anyone who might be interested (or cares), I had an MRI on June 18, 2001 to check further into my headaches. So, I thought I'd share some pics that I snapped from the computer screen. The technician said he'd never seen anyone so fascinated with the images as Angela and me. It's just sooooo cool to see what my brain looks like (sorta). Then he took us back into the magnet room and we did some science experiments, one pictured below.
I can see where people get the images for the pictures you see
of what aliens are supposed to look like.
This next one is from the back and shows my spinal column.
This is Angela's favorite, the bulging eyes with the lenses
viewed from the top.
This one is just disturbing.
This is a pair of scissors that is being attracted by the
magnet. So much so that it is suspended in air and only stopped by my
hand...ouch.
This final one is interesting. They said they would have to
wait until the radiologist does the readings to know for sure, but they think
this might be the cause of my headaches.
